I just sent some of these words to my dad in an email and thought I would post them, too. It is really sinking in for me that Landon is off to college in just a few days. I am giving all of my worries to God because He loves him more than I do. He is headed our way today to tell Clayton goodbye. Clayton is fully aware of Landon leaving...it should be interesting. Clayton is so happy in a lot of ways because Landon will be a Red Raider and he loves showing off his guns up, but he is also fully aware that the next time we go to Nana and Papa's he will not be there.
I am working on my tear control for this weekend. I will definitely need it. Tears just kind of come when they want to.....don't worry I will be fine (landon, if you are reading this). It is so exciting at the same time! I loved Tech and he will too!

Awwwww...I hear ya...for me it was when I went away to college and knew that I was missing all of Drew's soccer, basketball, and baseball games since he was still in high school. And I missed the talks we had every morning when he came into my room to see if his clothes matched (he's color blind:) and then he would lie on my bed talking...I cried many tears about those things...and I still sometimes do.
I'll be thinking about you and Landon this weekend...
Could you please post a picture of Landon on your blog so the anonymous people who read it will have an idea what he looks like?
