Tonight we went to Cool Cuts for Kids to get Cooper's First Haircut. We waited a little over an hour since we did not have an appointment. There were two families in front of us and they had 4 kids each. I can't imagine paying such a price for all 4 kids. I do this pricey haircut for the first one and that is it.
He did awesome and loved "driving" the yellow taxi. He wouldn't wear the cape so we went without it. Dora was on the t.v., but as most of you know, Cooper does not pay one lick of attention to the t.v. That is definitely a good thing unless you really need him to love it (traveling, haircut, showers, etc.). Clayton had a blast playing video games while we waited.
The second picture is of him standing up squealing in delight. I love to see him so excited. He is like his daddy....you don't see it very often, but when you do, it is soooo worth it. The first pic is of the end result. It is hard to tell that the beautiful curls have been cut, but the afro will be smaller and more groomed for sure.
Enjoy the pics!

Wow! 2 families with 4 kids each? That's a LOT of kids, isn't it? I learned how to cut the kids' hair years ago to save some BIG bucks. Now the teenage girl is the only one 2 good for my haircutting skills.
I love the pictures. Also loved the picture on my SpringCreek email today!
I can definitely tell it's shorter!:) It looks really good:)
Devra took Ellis there for her first haircut, and then she or her friend have trimmed it ever since:)
But I do have one comment, woman -- you were supposed to be at home resting tonight!:)
Wow, that kid looked liked Gene Wilder! Great hair cut...and what a cool place to have it done.
Love the hair! It's funny how different he and Clayton can look from one another, but in that first picture I see a resemblance!
Man, I need to catch up on your blog! Coop is adorable as always. Love those curls...
