Tomorrow the Miranda family will be heading out to the Children's/Adolphus Christmas parade in Downtown Dallas. This will be our 8th year and the parade's 20th year. This parade benefits Children's Medical Center and is tons of fun. Ray and I started going when we first dated and have continued it through the years. Now, Clayton is old enough to look forward to it. This will be Cooper's first year to attend. Last year was too windy for such a little guy. I usually get a good Christmas picture in front of the enormous tree inside the Adolphus hotel.
I am so excited that we have traditions that we are continuing and some new ones we are starting to hopefully leave a legacy for our kids. I believe the biggest and most important legacy we can leave for them is our lives which are centered upon Christ. This time of year is a perfect opportunity to remind them what this season is really all about.
